Workout 02-17-18

My son joined me for today’s morning workout. He’s nine and has the coordination of a drunk toddler and the flexibility of a coffee table. Still he scaled everything I did and even joined in for the yoga.

One of my goals for 2018 was to use yoga more often to help with soreness and also to help with breathing and body control. This is the first time I have done it this year so obviously I’m not doing a fantastic job at it. Still, with all the free content on youtube there is no good reason for me not doing it at least weekly.


Today I did a Yoga for BJJ video with Prof. Flavio Almeida and Lesley Fightmaster (coolest name ever). It was a great video, challenging but doable even for a beginner like me. I felt great afterwards and I swear I even got a little taller. I encourage you to check out her channel, it’s loaded with yoga workouts both general and for specific parts of the body. I will be doing her shoulder workout in the near future.
