I tried to get the boys and me to BJJ tonight but as luck would have it their was a bad accident just north of my subdivision and the front entrance was completely shut down. Since there is only one gated entrance to the neighborhood that meant we weren’t going to make it.
So instead I decided to go for a 2 mile run. After the run I took my dog for a walk and out of curiosity I decided to track our normal route for distance. Turns out my normal dog walking route is just under a mile and I do it at least twice a day.
While it may not be physically strenuous the act of getting outside and walking a mile has numerous physical and mental benefits.
