Maintaining Fitness As We Age

  

“as much as 70 percent of your athletic power after turning 50 remains under your control”

My father in law is in his 60s and has always been in great shape. A 30 year career in law enforcement and he still works out at the police station 3x a week. The training officers still bring the young rookies by and introduce him to show them what they should be striving too.

I’m a long ways from 60 but looking forward I’m hoping to be in as good shape as he is. Recently I read this article from outside online that dealt with controlling our level of fitness beyond 50.
